During 2019, Orbital Recruitment invested considerably into digitalising our recruitment processes. Leveraging technology to source, attract, assess, select, onboard and recruit candidates remotely for vacancies has been second nature for us for some time.  This has meant that the impact and disruption to our business and operations due to COVID19 has been rapidly reduced.

“Since our inception we’ve been keen innovators and encourage our teams to think ahead of the curve – another strategy that is now serving us well. I’m proud of the entire team.”

Comments Neil Powell, Director.

No halt to our hiring process with digital recruitment tactics

While there is no denying the economy has changed phenomenally, we are continuing to drive forward and support our clients during this difficult time. The labour market now has a restless workforce which are quick to jump to opportunities, meaning that now could be a key time to attract talent through digital means.

“We’re proud to say that operationally we’re managing to continue our services with the correct guidance in place from the government. The digital recruitment process allows us to fill roles efficiently and compliantly whilst social distancing. This has proved vital under the COVID19 pandemic and enabled us to continue to support our clients remotely during the lockdown.”

Comments Helen Younger, Operations Director.

Virtual inductions form a part of our COVID19 solution

As a part of our digital strategy, virtual inductions are also being held to onboard employees, ensuring that all who start are fully versed in the role ahead. It allows for questions to be answered and COVID19 processes to be discussed in detail providing comfort for all involved – vital in creating a strong employer and candidate relationship.

Although restrictions are in place, Orbital Recruitment are continuing to support our clients.

We’re following the government health advice to make sure our employees, on and off site, are safe and working with the REC to ensure that have the latest up to date advice on COVID19 direct from the. professional body for the UK recruitment industry.

We have put in place all necessary measures to ensure this advice is followed by everyone and are more committed than ever to supporting all clients at this time of uncertainty – together we’ll get through this.

“We would like to thank all our customers for supporting us in these uncertain times and we wish everyone good health, especially those on the frontline in the NHS.”
